Fig and Gorgonzola Quiche

With ripe figs, gorgonzola for character, rosemary for a touch of sunshine, and honey for sweetness, eating a slice of this quiche is a gourmet paradise! It's a nice change from the more classic fig and goat cheese tart, and we guarantee it will please the taste buds of your guests. You can serve it hot or cold, as an appetizer with a salad, or as a quick dinner.

Instructions

  • 1.   Unroll the pie crust in a pie dish and prick the bottom with a fork.
  • 2.   Mix the eggs, cream, and season with salt and pepper. Pour over the pie crust.
  • 3.   Place the washed and halved figs on top, then add the gorgonzola evenly.
  • 4.   Sprinkle with rosemary and drizzle with a little honey before baking for 35 to 40 minutes at 180°C.
  • 5.   Enjoy hot or cold!
