Instructions

  • 1.   Beat 5 eggs, add 2 handfuls of finely chopped cabbage and 2 handfuls of grated carrots, 1 pinch of salt, 2 pinches of sugar, and 1 pinch of pepper.
  • 2.   Sauté the bread slices with a piece of butter in a pan over medium/high heat. When they have a nice color, place them on a cutting board and spread one of the slices with a small spoonful of jam.
  • 3.   Melt a knob of butter in the pan and pour in the beaten eggs. Try to give them a rectangular shape and cut the rectangle in half. Flip it, place a slice of cheese on one square, and stack a second square on top. Cook for another 30 seconds to melt the cheese.
  • 4.   Place this beautiful omelette on the bread slice covered with jam, add 1 tablespoon of ketchup and mayo or sriracha mayo, then close with the second bread slice.

    Cut into triangles and serve.
