1. Peel and chop the garlic and onion. Rinse and finely chop the coriander.
2. Drain the chickpeas, blend them with the onion, garlic, coriander, cumin, pepper, and eggs until you obtain a smooth batter. Incorporate the whole wheat flour and baking powder.
3. Heat the oil in a large frying pan.
4. With your hands, shape the batter into fritters and fry them in the hot oil until golden brown.
5. Place the fritters on a paper towel to absorb the excess oil.
6. Serve with crushed tomatoes, seasoned with pepper and a pinch of salt.
