Broccoli gratin with béchamel sauce

Instructions

  • 1.   Steam the broccoli for about twenty minutes.

    Alternatively, blanch it in salted boiling water and then drain it.
  • 2.   To make the béchamel sauce, mix the flour with olive oil in a small saucepan.

    Separately, heat the milk in the microwave. Gradually pour the hot milk into the saucepan.

    Stir over low heat for a few minutes, until the sauce is thickened.

    Add salt, pepper, and nutmeg.

    Add two handfuls of grated cheese and stir quickly.
  • 3.   Preheat your oven to about 200ºC or Th.6/7.

    Grease a gratin dish. Cut the broccoli into small florets and place them in the dish.

    Cover with the béchamel sauce. Top with the remaining grated cheese.

    Grill in the oven for 20 to 30 minutes, depending on your oven.

  • 6 tablespoon of wheat flour
  • 6 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • salt (according to taste)
