Baked Gorgonzola Gnocchi

How do you like your gnocchi? We like them served with gorgonzola and baked to perfection!

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Melt a knob of butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the gnocchi and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes, until they are golden brown.
  • 2.   Once the gnocchi are golden brown, add a splash of water. Mix, cover, and continue cooking for 1 minute.
  • 3.   In an ovenproof dish, add the cooked gnocchi. Season with salt and pepper.
  • 4.   Add the cream and half of the crumbled gorgonzola. Mix well.
  • 5.   Sprinkle the remaining crumbled gorgonzola on top along with roughly chopped walnuts, if you have any. Bake for 10 minutes at 200°C (400°F).
  • 6.   Once the gnocchi are golden and the cheese is melted, remove the dish from the oven. Serve with a green salad dressed to your liking. Enjoy!

  • 20 ml of heavy cream
