Protein Peach Ice Cream Ninja Creami

  • 1.   Wash the peaches well and cut the flat peaches into pieces (with the skin). Add to the bowl of the Ninja Creami.
  • 2.   Thoroughly clean the eggshell with soap.
  • 3.   If using xanthan gum, incorporate the xanthan gum into the milk. To do this, in a flat-bottomed bowl, add a portion of the protein milk, the xanthan gum, and blend the mixture using an immersion blender.
  • 4.   In the bowl of the Ninja Creami, mix the protein milk (and the xanthan milk if used), powdered sugar, egg, and a small pinch of salt using a spoon.
  • 5.   Place in the freezer for 24 hours.
  • 6.   Remove from the freezer and let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes or microwave for 30 seconds.
  • 7.   Blend using the "Light Ice Cream" program.
  • 8.   If the ice cream texture is not creamy enough, add a tablespoon of milk and run the "Respin" program to refine the consistency.

Notes & Suggestions

  • Xanthan gum is optional but it helps achieve a creamier texture. Be careful not to add too much. It's better to add less than too much.

    Quite surprised. I was expecting a bland result but the flavor is subtle and delicate. Use ripe enough fruits.
