Zucchini and Potato Gratin

Instructions

  • 1.   Cook the potatoes with the skin on (they should remain slightly firm). Cook the zucchini (sliced) in a covered pan with Herbes de Provence, salt, and pepper.
  • 2.   Peel the potatoes (under a thin stream of cold water, or even in cold water to avoid burning yourself). Slice them.
  • 3.   In a gratin dish, mix the potatoes and zucchini. Season with salt, pepper, Herbes de Provence, fresh cream (or béchamel sauce), nutmeg, and a little cheese (50g). Mix well to evenly distribute the cream and cheese, then cover with the remaining cheese.
  • 4.   Bake for 20 minutes in a hot oven (thermostat 7/210°C).

  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 6 potatoes
