Cheddar Mac and Cheese

Instructions

  • 1.   Melt 30g of butter in a saucepan, add 15g of flour and stir constantly over low heat. Gradually pour in 6 dl of hot milk, thicken with a spatula and add 150g of grated cheddar, a few pinches of nutmeg. Season with pepper.
  • 2.   Mix 250g of cooked macaroni al dente into this sauce and put it in a gratin dish, about 4 cm thick.
  • 3.   Sprinkle with 50g of cheddar mixed with 25g of breadcrumbs and slide into a preheated oven at 180 °C (th. 6). Cook for 30 minutes and serve hot or warm with a seasonal salad.

  • 20 g of flour
  • 600 g of milk
  • 25 g of breadcrumbs
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • pepper (according to taste)
