Moroccan Semolina Pancakes / حَرْشَة

Instructions

  • 1.   Pour the dry ingredients into a bowl (semolina, sugar, salt, baking powder).
  • 2.   Pour in the melted butter and crumble with your fingertips.
  • 3.   Add the milk, mix well, and let it rest for a few minutes so that the semolina absorbs the liquid.
  • 4.   Heat a non-stick pan.
  • 5.   Roll out the dough on a work surface sprinkled with semolina.
  • 6.   Using a glass or a cookie cutter, make circles.
  • 7.   Cook the pancakes over medium heat on both sides (about 4 minutes on each side).
