Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
  • 2.   Cook the gnocchi for 1 minute in a pot of boiling water.
  • 3.   Drain them.
  • 4.   Grease an ovenproof dish and pour in the gnocchi.
  • 5.   Top with sliced peeled tomatoes, grated gruyere cheese, and chopped basil.
  • 6.   Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • 7.   Bake for 15 minutes until the gratin is lightly golden.
  • 8.   Serve hot with a slice of lean ham and a few seasoned salad leaves.

  • 1 handful of grated Gruyère cheese
  • 2 tablespoon of fresh basil
  • 15 g of light butter
  • salt (according to taste)
