Quick spinach and feta puffs

Instructions

  • 1.   In a pan, heat a spoonful of sunflower oil and add the frozen chopped spinach to it over low heat.
  • 2.   Immediately cover with a lid.
  • 3.   Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mash the feta with a fork and add the whole egg.
  • 4.   Mix everything well, salt and pepper.
  • 5.   Once the spinach has thawed, let it cool and drain well in a fine colander for 10 minutes (pressing it with a fork), then mix it with the feta and the egg.
  • 6.   Spread the pastry sheets on the work surface and distribute the spinach over each of them, roll them up or prepare them in the shape of a samosa if you know how to do it.
  • 7.   The important thing is that each preparation is well closed.
  • 8.   Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the puff pastry for a few minutes on each side.
  • 9.   (in the oven, it's even easier, if you have one and it's less fatty).
  • 10.   Serve warm or cold, as an accompaniment to a salad.

Notes

  • IDEA: You can replace the feta with ordinary grated cheese or with another type of cheese ... goat, parmesan, camembert, etc ... depending on taste or ingredient in the fridge.
  • Brick sheets keep very well in the freezer for later use, in case the package is not used up.
