Salmon and Spinach Gnocchi Gratin

Instructions

  • 1.   Cook the gnocchi in a large pot of salted boiling water according to the instructions on the package.
  • 2.   In a saucepan, cook the spinach with a little butter for 10 minutes.
  • 3.   Cut the salmon fillets into cubes. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • 4.   Prepare the béchamel sauce by melting the diced butter in a saucepan. Add the flour while stirring. Gradually pour in the milk while continuing to stir until the sauce thickens. Add the Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
  • 5.   Place the drained gnocchi in the bottom of a gratin dish. Add half of the béchamel sauce. Top with salmon and spinach, and add the remaining béchamel sauce. Bake for 20 minutes at 180°C (350°F). Serve immediately.
