Walnut Brownies

Instructions

  • 1.   Place the chocolate and butter in small pieces in a saucepan. Melt over a double boiler while stirring.
  • 2.   Remove the saucepan from the heat, add the sugar and mix. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • 3.   Pour one whole egg into the saucepan and mix immediately. Incorporate the other eggs in the same way.
  • 4.   Add the 2 tablespoons of flour while mixing.
  • 5.   Break the walnut kernels in half or thirds. Mix them into the batter.
  • 6.   Spread the butter in a rectangular mold. Pour the batter into it.
  • 7.   Place the mold in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
  • 8.   Once cooked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool.
  • 9.   Then unmold it onto a plate. Cut the cake into 6 or 8 squares and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
    You can also replace the walnut kernels with pecans.

  • 1 handful of walnut kernel
