Salad Gratin

Once your salad wilts, you tend to throw away the wilted leaves. From now on, you will give them a second life thanks to our recipe. Easily prepare a beautiful salad gratin that will accompany meats with delight. Make this economical and fiber-rich gratin in advance, then simply reheat it at the last moment.

Instructions

  • 1.   In a saucepan, cook the previously washed salad leaves in a little water for 30 minutes. Drain them after cooking.
  • 2.   Cut the cooked salad leaves with a knife.
  • 3.   Spread them in an ovenproof gratin dish.
  • 4.   Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • 5.   In a bowl, beat the egg with the heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • 6.   Pour the gratin mixture into the dish, over the salad. Cover with grated cheese and bake your salad gratin for 20 minutes.
  • 7.   Immediately after cooking, serve the hot salad gratin as a side dish with delicious roasted meats.

  • 1 egg
  • 20 cl of sour cream
  • 100 g of grated Gruyère cheese
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
