Waffles with Thermomix

Symbol of funfairs and street food, it was possible to find waffles for sale in the streets of Paris as early as the 13th century. Etymologists link this word to the Frankish "wafla". The term "walfre" indicates around 1185 a "kind of pastry cooked between two divided plates that imprint a relief design on it".
