Roasted Camembert Sun Tart

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
    Unroll the first puff pastry and make a hole in the center using the lid of the Camembert.
  • 2.   Spread apple compote around the hole on the pastry and sprinkle with crushed hazelnuts.
    Do the same with the round piece of pastry that was removed.
  • 3.   Unroll the second pastry and make a hole in the center, just like the first pastry.
    Place it on top of the first pastry to cover it.
  • 4.   Cut the pastry without going all the way through to create 24 rays. Twist them. Do the same with the small round pieces of pastry that were removed.
  • 5.   Bake for 15 minutes.
  • 6.   Place the unwrapped Camembert in its box (after removing any labels) and continue baking for 10 minutes.
