Leek tart

An easy dish for weeknight dinners and impromptu meals, the leek tart is also a complete meal. Serve it with a small salad of endives with walnuts.

Instructions

  • 1.   Cut the leeks into thin slices and put them in a saucepan with butter over very low heat. Season with salt and pepper.
  • 2.   Meanwhile, whisk the eggs with the cream. When the leeks are cooked, mix them with the eggs.
  • 3.   Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Grease a tart pan and unroll the dough in it. Pour the leek mixture over it.
  • 4.   Bake for about 30 to 35 minutes.
