Chicken and Broccoli Fricassee

Instructions

  • 1.   Cut the chicken breasts into strips and sauté them in the hot cooking butter.
    Peel the onions, slice them into rings, and add them to the meat. Season with salt and pepper.
  • 2.   Separate the broccoli florets and cook them for about 8 minutes in boiling salted water, then drain them.
  • 3.   Sprinkle the chicken with flour and mix.
    Dissolve the tomato paste in the chicken broth, pour it over the chicken, and let it simmer.
    After 5 minutes, add the previously washed and chopped chives, as well as the sour cream.
    Add the green peppercorns towards the end of cooking.
  • 4.   Brown the almonds in the hot butter, then gently mix them with the broccoli.
  • 5.   Season with salt, pepper, and grated nutmeg. Serve the chicken fricassee with the broccoli.
    Serve with pasta.

  • 500 g of chicken breast
  • 5 tablespoon of butter
  • 2 onions
  • 500 g of broccoli
  • 2 tablespoon of flour
  • 2 tablespoon of tomato paste
  • 250 ml of chicken broth
  • ½ bunch of chives
  • 200 g of sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon of green pepper
  • 20 g of sliced almond
  • 1 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 400 g of pasta
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
