Notes & Suggestions

  • This recipe can be accompanied by vegetables such as spinach, for example, to perfect the balance of the meal. Pasta is a source of carbohydrates that provide a regular supply of sugar, thus avoiding the famous afternoon cravings often experienced during a slimming diet. The quantity of carbohydrates should be adjusted according to one's energy expenditure, but they should not be eliminated as they are essential to keep us in shape. Pasta, rice, couscous, etc., should therefore be included in our plates. Combining carbohydrates with a vegetable allows for the intake of vitamins and fiber while controlling calorie intake. Finally, shrimp, being low in calories, provide a source of protein to prevent muscle loss in favor of fat mass.
