Instructions

  • 1.   Take the butter out of the refrigerator about 30 minutes before starting the recipe.
  • 2.   Preheat the oven to 210°C (410°F).
  • 3.   Peel, core, and cut the apples into coarse cubes. Spread them in an ovenproof dish.
    Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with cinnamon and vanilla sugar.
  • 4.   In a bowl, mix the flour and brown sugar. Then add the butter in small cubes and mix by hand to form a crumbly dough.
    Crumble this dough over the apples to cover them.
  • 5.   Bake for 30 minutes.
  • 6.   Delicious when warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
