Instructions

  • 1.   In a bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add the eggs and milk, then mix well.
  • 2.   Cut the butter into pieces and incorporate it into the mixture. Knead for a few minutes.
    Let the dough rise for 1-1.5 hours at room temperature.
  • 3.   Once the dough has risen, add the pearl sugar and mix well. Form small balls of dough and cook them in a greased waffle iron. Let them brown. Be careful not to burn yourself with the caramelized pearl sugar!

Notes & Suggestions

  • You can also use fresh yeast.
