White Rice Nasi Goreng

Instructions

  • 1.   Cook the rice for 10 minutes in boiling salted water (2 parts water to 1 part rice).
  • 2.   Beat the eggs in a bowl.
  • 3.   Slice the shallots and dice the bell pepper.
  • 4.   Sauté the shallots and bell peppers in a pan with 1 tablespoon of oil for 3 minutes. Move them to one side of the pan.
  • 5.   Pour the beaten eggs into the empty side of the pan. Chop them roughly with a spatula.
  • 6.   Add soy sauce to the rice.
  • 7.   Mix everything together and serve.

  • 1 bell pepper
  • 2 shallots
  • 1 tablespoon of sweet soy sauce
