Cheese and Herb Potato Gratin

Instructions

  • 1.   Cook the potatoes in a pot of salted water without peeling them. Cook for about 20 minutes, they should remain firm in the center. Drain and let cool.
  • 2.   Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • 3.   Once the potatoes have cooled slightly, peel them and cut them into slices.
  • 4.   Mix together the heavy cream, milk, cream cheese, and minced garlic. Use a blender to obtain a smooth cream. Season with salt and pepper, then add some herbs.
  • 5.   Spread the potatoes in a gratin dish and cover with the cream/cheese mixture. Bake for about 30 minutes.

  • 100 ml of milk
  • 1 handful of fine herbs
  • salt (according to taste)
