Instructions

  • 1.   Prepare the decoration of the glasses by dipping their edges in pink sugar (e.g. Tagada strawberries) and lemon juice to enhance the appearance.
  • 2.   Wash and peel the strawberries, then drain them well. Blend them thoroughly with powdered sugar and lemon juice, and if necessary, strain the mixture to remove any small seeds. Chill.
  • 3.   Mix the mascarpone and fresh cream with vanilla sugar, lightly whip them with an electric whisk, and chill.
  • 4.   When serving, take a "sample" glass of the same size as the ones you have prepared, and press it onto the ice block to obtain the exact diameter.
  • 5.   Cut the ice into approximately 1 cm thick slices, then neatly place the ice circles at the bottom of the prepared glasses.
  • 6.   Pour the strawberry mixture over the glasses until they are 3/4 full, then cover everything with the creamy mascarpone mixture as if it were whipped cream.
  • 7.   As a final decorative touch, sprinkle with shelled and crushed pistachios, 2 small Tagada strawberries, and 2 Mikado sticks. And you're done!
