Low-carb Cinnamon Baked Apple

The low-carb cinnamon baked apple is the quickest snack in the west (and the east, north, and south too!). You used to eat it when you were as small as three apples. So if you loved it, your children will adore it. A little bit of cinnamon, a little bit of patience, and you're good to go.

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F) and place a sheet of parchment paper in a baking dish (pie dish, cake pan, gratin dish...). Cut off the tops of the apples (keep them aside), core them, then place the fruits in the dish.
  • 2.   Fill the core of each apple with 1/2 tsp of fructose, sprinkle the fruits with cinnamon, put their tops back on, then bake for about 30 minutes, until they become tender and compote-like.
  • 3.   Let this delicious apple dessert cool down a bit, so you can serve it warm.
