Smoked salmon lollipops

Instructions

  • 1.   1. In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese, sour cream, chopped dill, crushed pink peppercorns, salt, and pepper.
  • 2.   2. Line the 16 cavities of a mini-sphere mold (or cake pops mold) with strips of smoked salmon. Fill with the cream cheese mixture. Fold the salmon if necessary. Freeze until firm (about 20 minutes).
  • 3.   3. Warm the blinis in a moderate oven (160 °C) or toaster. Using a round cutter of the same diameter as the half-spheres, cut out circles from the blinis.
  • 4.   4. Unmold the half-spheres. Place them on the blinis and secure with toothpicks.
