Apple Risotto with Ham Chips

Instructions

  • 1.   Cook the country ham between two sheets of parchment paper in the oven at 150°C (300°F) for 15 minutes.
  • 2.   Meanwhile, slice the onion and sauté it in a drizzle of olive oil. When the onion is translucent, add the rice and sauté until the rice becomes translucent.
  • 3.   Deglaze with white wine... and never stop stirring!
  • 4.   Once the white wine has almost evaporated, gradually add the broth (prepared in advance) each time the mixture becomes too dry.
  • 5.   After about 15 minutes, add the diced apples.
  • 6.   Continue to moisten the risotto until it is cooked to perfection.
  • 7.   Remove from heat and add the Bridelight 15% doux. Cover and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  • 8.   Serve the risotto in a soup plate or bowl, topped with Parmesan shavings and accompanied by the ham chips.

  • 4 slice of Parma ham
  • 1 large onion
  • 50 cl of dry white wine
  • 1 liter of vegetable broth
  • 1 pinch of parmesan
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • salt (according to taste)
