Roasted Chicken with Apples and Société Roquefort

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
  • 2.   In an ovenproof dish, place your chicken that you have previously spread with butter and seasoned with fine salt and ground pepper.
  • 3.   Meanwhile, wash the potatoes thoroughly with clear water.
  • 4.   Place them around the chicken and add the bacon.
  • 5.   Sprinkle with mushrooms that you have cleaned and cut into small quarters, and season with fine salt, ground pepper, and stripped rosemary.
  • 6.   Bake for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  • 7.   Halfway through cooking, baste with half a glass of water and turn the chicken occasionally so that it is browned on all sides.
  • 8.   5 minutes before the end of cooking, place the Roquefort that you have previously cut into small cubes in the dish.
  • 9.   Serve hot!
