Cabbage-Potato-Carrot and Sausage Stew

Instructions

  • 1.   Wash the cabbage.
  • 2.   On a cutting board, cut it into 4 pieces and pull off the leaves.
  • 3.   Peel and wash the carrots, then cut them into slices.
  • 4.   Peel and wash the potatoes, then cut them into pieces.
  • 5.   Peel and wash the onion, then slice it.
  • 6.   Peel and wash the garlic, then finely chop it with a knife.
  • 7.   Wash the parsley, then chop it.
  • 8.   Pour water into a saucepan, then bring it to a boil over high heat.
  • 9.   Add the cabbage to the boiling water, then blanch it for 10 minutes.
  • 10.   Heat the fat in a pressure cooker.
  • 11.   Once the fat is hot, fry the onion in it.
  • 12.   Add the cabbage leaves, carrots, potatoes, bacon slices, sausages, garlic, 2 tablespoons of parsley, salt, and a little pepper.
  • 13.   Cover all these ingredients with water until halfway up.
  • 14.   Stir well, then cook covered for 30 minutes from the rotation of the valve.
  • 15.   At the end of this cooking time, open your pressure cooker and let the cooking continue for an additional 10 minutes.
