Chicken Semolina Cake

Instructions

  • 1.   1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • 2.   2. Peel the onions and garlic.
  • 3.   3. Cut the chicken into small pieces and brown them over medium heat in an ovenproof casserole dish with a drizzle of olive oil.
  • 4.   4. Then add the sliced onions, minced garlic, raisins, peeled and cubed beets, salt, pepper, and ras el hanout. Sauté for 5 minutes, then sprinkle the semolina on top, dot with pieces of butter, pour cold water over it without stirring so that it exceeds the semolina by 4-5 cm. Cover and place the casserole dish in the oven for 50 minutes.
