Vegetable and Ham Tartiflette

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • 2.   Wash all the vegetables (potatoes, carrots, turnips), peel them, and then cut them into regular slices. Steam them for 10 minutes.
  • 3.   Meanwhile, peel and slice the onion.
  • 4.   In a sauté pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil, then add the sliced onions and ham cubes to sauté them. Let them brown for 5 minutes. Add the vegetables and mix.
  • 5.   Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper before adding the thyme. Mix well and spread the mixture in an ovenproof dish.
  • 6.   Cover with slices of raclette cheese and bake for 25 minutes.
  • 7.   Serve immediately.
