2. Wash all the vegetables (potatoes, carrots, turnips), peel them, and then cut them into regular slices. Steam them for 10 minutes.
3. Meanwhile, peel and slice the onion.
4. In a sauté pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil, then add the sliced onions and ham cubes to sauté them. Let them brown for 5 minutes. Add the vegetables and mix.
5. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper before adding the thyme. Mix well and spread the mixture in an ovenproof dish.
6. Cover with slices of raclette cheese and bake for 25 minutes.
7. Serve immediately.
