Sun-shaped puff pastry with salmon and duck breast

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • 2.   Place one puff pastry sheet and spread the Boursin cheese on one half, and the Mimolette cheese on the other half.
  • 3.   Add the smoked salmon on top of the Boursin cheese, and the dried duck breast on top of the Mimolette cheese.
  • 4.   Cover with the second puff pastry sheet.
  • 5.   Using a glass, make a round mark in the middle of the pastry without piercing it.
  • 6.   Starting from this round mark, cut the pastry as if you were cutting slices of pie, as many slices as desired (the easiest way is to cut into 16 slices).
  • 7.   Take each slice and twist them to form twists.
  • 8.   Mix a few drops of milk with an egg yolk for the glaze. Spread this mixture on the sun-shaped pastry using a brush.
  • 9.   Bake for 30 minutes at 180°C (350°F).

    I modified the recipe, I added bolognese sauce and gruyère cheese, it's also very good and it makes an impression????
