Instructions

  • 1.   Start this recipe by preparing the main ingredient for this blanquette. To do this, cut the turkey cutlets into pieces that are not too big or too small. Peel, remove the germ, and slice the onions and garlic clove. Wash, peel, and cut the carrots into rounds. In a casserole dish, heat the olive oil. Brown the turkey pieces with the sliced onions and garlic, as well as the drained mushrooms and carrot rounds.
  • 2.   Meanwhile, dissolve the chicken bouillon cube in a little hot water and then pour it into the casserole dish over the meat. Season with salt and pepper, according to your personal taste.
  • 3.   Let simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon.
  • 4.   Add the nutmeg. Mix well with the sour cream to obtain a creamy sauce.
  • 5.   When the turkey blanquette is cooked and the meat is tender, serve it hot with rice.
