Mountain Plate with Baked Camembert

Instructions

  • 1.   Place the Camembert in a round terracotta dish and score the top
  • 2.   Wash the potatoes and cut them into wedges, like thick fries
  • 3.   Prepare the green salad and place it on the plates. Add two tomato slices
  • 4.   Cooking:
    Bake the Camembert in the oven at 200°C (400°F) for 20 minutes
  • 5.   Meanwhile, cook the potatoes in a pan with a little oil, stirring for half an hour. Season with salt and keep warm
  • 6.   Cook the bacon in a pan and set aside
  • 7.   Once the Camembert is cooked, remove it from the oven and place it on the plate
  • 8.   Fry an egg sunny-side up and place it on the hot Camembert with a slice of bacon
  • 9.   Add the golden potatoes next to the Camembert dish
  • 10.   Drizzle the salad and smoked ham with vinaigrette. Serve

Notes & Suggestions

  • Chef's Tip:
    - To make the cheese even more creamy, add a few small pieces of mozzarella mixed with the scored top of the Camembert before baking
    - Sprinkle the salad with a few small pieces of apple.

  • 4 slice of Parma ham
  • 2 tablespoon of olive oil
