Pumpkin, Bacon, and Caramelized Onion Tart

Instructions

  • 1.   - Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • 2.   - Place the dough in a tart pan.
  • 3.   - After pre-cooking the pumpkin, mash it into a puree.
  • 4.   - In a bowl, mix the 2 egg yolks with the cream, salt, and pepper.
  • 5.   - Incorporate the pumpkin puree.
  • 6.   - Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then add them to the mixture.
  • 7.   - Sauté the bacon and onion over high heat.
  • 8.   - Place them on the tart dough and finish by pouring the pumpkin, egg, and cream mixture over them.
  • 9.   - Bake for approximately 35 minutes.
  • 10.   Enjoy your meal!
