Basquaise chicken (easy, fast)

The basquaise chicken is a traditional dish and typical Basque cuisine. It's a classic recipe, but it still allows you to change the ordinary, for a little culinary craziness on your plate.

Instructions

  • 1.   Peel the onions and garlic cloves. Finely chop the onions. Crush Garlic Wash chicken legs, peppers and tomatoes thoroughly. Cut the red peppers. Cut the tomatoes into cubes.
  • 2.   In a pot, fry the pieces of chicken and brown each side. Add the onions and cook until they become transparent.
  • 3.   Put the garlic, tomato and pepper in the pot. Salt and pepper according to your tastes.
  • 4.   Cover and cook on medium heat for 45 minutes, checking that there is enough liquid left. At the end of cooking, check the level of the sauce, if it is too liquid, finish cooking uncovered.
  • 5.   Serve your basquaise chicken, and enjoy!
