Strasbourg Sausage with Bacon

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F)
  • 2.   Cut the sausages in half lengthwise, making sure not to separate the two halves
  • 3.   Cut the cheese slices into strips about 1/2 cm (1/4 inch) wide (5 strips per slice)
  • 4.   Insert the cheese into the sausage, using 1.5 to 2 strips per sausage.
  • 5.   Wrap the sausages with bacon
  • 6.   Bake in the oven (or vertical oven) for 10 to 15 minutes.

  • 8 Strasbourg sausages
  • 8 slice of smoked bacon
  • 1 bag of hamburger cheese
