Gratin dauphinois with bacon in the Companion

Instructions

  • 1.   Chop the garlic.
  • 2.   Slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
  • 3.   Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F) in convection mode.
  • 4.   In the robot with the mixer attachment, cook all the ingredients except the cheese, in slow cook mode, P1, 20 minutes, 130°C (266°F).
  • 5.   Pour into a gratin dish, sprinkle with cheese, and bake for 15 minutes.

  • 1 kg of potato
  • 300 ml of semi-skimmed milk
  • 80 g of grated cheese
  • 200 ml of heavy cream
  • 2 bouillon cubes
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 bag of smoked bacon
