White sauce for pasta

Instructions

  • 1.   Melt the butter and margarine in a saucepan over medium-low heat; add the flour and bouillon cube and whisk to form a roux. Continue to stir until the mixture is golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  • 2.   Increase the heat and whisk in the boiling water. Once smooth, add the milk; cook, stirring, until thickened, about 2 minutes. Season with white pepper.

  • 2 tablespoon of butter
  • 2 tablespoon of margarine
  • 3 tablespoon of flour
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 1.5 cup of water
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 pinch of white pepper
