Chinese cabbage salad

Instructions

  • 1.   Remove the leaves from the cabbage, then wash, drain, and cut them into strips. Place them in a salad bowl. Peel and wash the carrots, then grate them. Add them to the cabbage.
  • 2.   Rinse the mint, then remove the leaves and chop them.
  • 3.   In a bowl, mix the lime juice with the sugar. Add the nuoc-mâm, oil, and a little salt. Mix again. Remove the seeds from the half chili pepper, then finely chop it and add it to the sauce.
  • 4.   Pour the sauce over the salad, sprinkle with chopped mint, and mix.
  • 5.   Serve chilled.

Notes & Suggestions

  • You can also use hazelnut oil instead of walnut oil.

  • 2 cl of lime
  • 2 teaspoon of powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoon of fish sauce
  • 3 tablespoon of walnut oil
  • 1 chili pepper
