Roquefort Baked Eggs

For egg lovers, those who don't have time, or simply for the foodies

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • 2.   In each ramekin, place a tablespoon of heavy cream at the bottom. Season with salt.
  • 3.   Carefully crack an egg into each ramekin. Season with salt and pepper.
  • 4.   Make thin slices of Roquefort cheese and cover the surface, except for the egg yolk.
  • 5.   Finish by sprinkling with thyme (it pairs well with Roquefort), and bake for 10 minutes at 180°C (350°F) (note that it may vary slightly depending on the oven).

Ingredients for servings

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoon of thick sour cream
  • 1 pinch of salt and pepper
  • 1 slice of Roquefort
  • 1 pinch of thyme or herbs from Provence
