Cauliflower and Bacon Gratin

The joy of enjoying a delicious cauliflower gratin! This recipe offers a variation with potatoes, bacon, and Comté cheese. Add an egg and some cream... Needless to say, everyone will love cauliflower in these conditions, both young and old! Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 425°F (210°C).
  • 2.   Separate the cauliflower into florets. Peel the potatoes. Cook the cauliflower and potatoes for 5 minutes in a pressure cooker or 15 minutes in boiling water. In a bowl, mix the cream and egg. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  • 3.   Butter an ovenproof dish. Then arrange the cauliflower, sliced potatoes, and bacon. Pour the mixture over everything. Sprinkle grated cheese on top of the gratin. Then bake for 15 minutes. Finish cooking by broiling to brown the surface of the gratin.

  • 1 cauliflower
  • 3 potatoes
  • 100 g of bacon cube
  • 50 g of grated Gruyère cheese
  • 50 cl of soy cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch of salt and pepper

    Excellent recipe, for my part I added a vegetable broth to the cooking water of the cauliflower and potatoes, and don't hesitate to season it to enhance the taste of this dish that both kids and adults enjoyed.
