Minced meat pie

A simple and flavorful pie inspired by French bistros, highlighting minced beef, onions, and tomatoes, all wrapped in puff pastry.

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • 2.   Peel, wash, and chop the onion.
  • 3.   Sauté it in a pan with oil, add the minced meat and brown it for 5 minutes.
  • 4.   Add the tomatoes with their juice, let it simmer over low heat for 15 minutes to reduce the sauce by half.
  • 5.   Remove from heat, stir in the chopped parsley, season with salt and pepper.
  • 6.   Line a mold with parchment paper, fill it with puff pastry and pour in the mixture.
  • 7.   Cover with the second puff pastry, pinch the edges and brush with egg yolk.
  • 8.   Bake for 30 minutes and serve hot.

  • 200 g of mince pork and beef
  • 1 parsley
  • 2 tablespoon of oil
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 green salad
