Tunisian Tajine

A traditional Tunisian dish, the Tunisian tajine is a kind of baked frittata, rich in flavors and easy to prepare.

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • 2.   Sauté the onion, garlic, and ground meat in oil until the meat is well cooked.
  • 3.   Season with salt and pepper, then remove from heat.
  • 4.   Peel the potato, cut it into small cubes, and fry them.
  • 5.   Beat the eggs.
  • 6.   Mash the Laughing Cow cheese and mix it with parsley, meat, potato cubes, grated cheese, and eggs.
  • 7.   Pour the mixture into a buttered ovenproof dish.
  • 8.   Bake for 20 minutes.
