Mac & Cheese (sour cream)

"Normandy" version of Mac & Cheese

Instructions

  • 1.   Grate the cheddar and set aside 30-40g for the breadcrumb topping
  • 2.   Cook the pasta shells al dente
  • 3.   Melt the sour cream over low heat and mix in the grated cheddar
  • 4.   In a baking dish, mix the pasta shells and melted cheddar. (Add ham if desired)
  • 5.   Top with the remaining cheddar and generously cover with breadcrumbs
  • 6.   Bake at 180°C for 10 minutes and then switch to maximum grill mode for 5 minutes

  • 300 g of small shell pasta
  • 200 g of cheddar
  • 50 cl of sour cream
  • 50 g of breading
  • 150 g of ham cube (optional)
  • salt (according to taste)
