Pan-Fried Cauliflower

Instructions

  • 1.   Wash the cauliflower, separate it into pieces, and rinse them.

    Steam the cauliflower in a steaming basket.
  • 2.   Meanwhile, place the bacon lardons in a large skillet and melt them over low heat.

    If your lardons release a lot of fat, drain it using a sieve.

    Keep a little fat in the skillet or replace it with a teaspoon of oil to sauté the cauliflower later.
  • 3.   Once steamed, check the cauliflower's doneness with the tip of a knife. It should be tender but not mushy to avoid turning into a puree later.
  • 4.   Add the cauliflower to the lardons in the skillet and mix them together. Add the minced garlic and cover.
  • 5.   Cook over low heat for another .
