Instructions

  • 1.   In a Dutch oven, brown the meat pieces with a little oil on all sides. Remove.
  • 2.   Add the minced onion and sliced carrots and let them brown for a few minutes.
  • 3.   Return the meat and sprinkle with flour, mix well.
  • 4.   Deglaze with white wine and let it evaporate. Pour in the maple syrup and broth, then add the whole garlic, thyme, and bay leaf. Season with salt and pepper.
  • 5.   Cover and let simmer for 2 to 3 hours until the meat is tender.
  • 6.   Serve hot!

  • 1 large onion
  • 2 carrots
  • 3 tablespoon of flour
  • 100 ml of white wine
  • 125 ml of maple syrup
  • 500 ml of beef broth
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 stalk of thyme
  • 1 bay leaf
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
