Light Broccoli and Beef Gratin

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F).

    Finely chop the shallots.

    Rinse the broccoli and separate the florets.
  • 2.   In a pot of salted boiling water, cook the broccoli florets for 15 minutes.
  • 3.   Meanwhile, in a buttered non-stick skillet, sauté the shallots for a few minutes, then add the ground beef.

    Cook for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring regularly.

    Pour in the tomato sauce, season with salt and pepper.
  • 4.   Once the broccoli is cooked, drain it well and blend it with the parsley and cream cheese.

    Season with salt and pepper.

    In a gratin dish, layer the meat evenly.

    Spread the broccoli puree on top and smooth the surface.

    Finish with grated cheese, then bake for 10 minutes.

    Serve hot.

  • ½ bunch of flat-leaf parsley
  • 2 shallots
