Sun-dried tomato and basil meatballs

Instructions

  • 1.   Peel and finely chop the garlic and onion.
  • 2.   In a bowl, mix the meat with the egg, onion, garlic, diced tomatoes, and chopped basil. Season with salt and pepper.
  • 3.   In a shallow plate, put the flour.
  • 4.   Prepare a large plate and cover it with paper towels.
  • 5.   Heat the olive oil in a large skillet.
  • 6.   Shape the meat mixture into meatballs and roll them in the flour to coat them well.
  • 7.   Brown the meatballs for 5 minutes on each side over high heat, then drain them immediately on the paper towels.
  • 8.   Serve hot.
