Creamy Ham and Endives

Instructions

  • 1.   Wash and separate the endives and cook them in boiling water.

    Drain the endives and set them aside.
  • 2.   Wash, peel, and crush the garlic. In a saucepan, add a knob of butter, crushed garlic, fresh cream, salt, and pepper.

    Melt all the ingredients together and let them cook over low heat for 5 minutes.
  • 3.   In an ovenproof dish, arrange the endives and place the ham slices and cream mixture on top.
  • 4.   Sprinkle grated gruyere cheese over all the endives.
  • 5.   Place in the oven and cook for 30 minutes at 210°C (410°F).
  • 6.   Enjoy the creamy ham and endives when the endives are nicely gratinated.

  • 4 slice of ham
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 bag of grated Gruyère cheese
  • 1 pinch of butter
